Having the resources to perform well at something, while facing a disability are challenges that need to be addressed. Having a variety of talents and limits in a workforce is called ability and disability diversity.
We strive to deliver services for people with disabilities on inclusion issues, and develop innovative programs that are engaging and support frameworks for scaling our them to help communities across Canada and and around the world.
DisabilityAbilities’s purpose is to unlock potential through accessibility and inclusivity. Our work is aimed at unlocking the potential we see around us to create a better, barrier-free life for all Canadians by reimagining accessibility and redefining the way Canadians live, work, and play.
Research and Impact are cornerstones of our purpose at Abilities Centre. Research is embedded into each of our programs and services. It is used as the framework in which we conduct our work and achieve our mission and vision. Our Impact is gathered and shared to spread our message and support changes in our communities across Canada. Research and Impact at Abilities Centre allow us to advance the scale of the work done at Abilities Centre to a National and Global level.
